Travel Tips & Information

FLIGHTS & LONG DISTANCE TRAVEL

Fly into Huatulco (HUX) on February the 13th, and we will have shuttles waiting for you to bring you to the site. We will coordinate to make sure everyone’s flights are in before the shuttle leaves, everyone should by 8pm. The shuttle will leave 8pm, and take two hours to get to Casa Cascada. You will arrive at 10pm local time.

LOCAL TRAVEL

Alternatively, you may either fly directly into Puerto Escondido (PXM) via Aeromexico, VivaAerobus, or Volaris from Mexico City, or take the bus in from Oaxaca City (4 hours). You may also take the Aerotucan (a smaller plane) in from many locations within state, including Oaxaca City and Huatulco. Taxis are readily available from the airport and the bus terminal. Contact us for further details, as we have a knowledgeable travel agent to assist us.

Oaxaca is known for it’s indigenous people and cultures, which have been better preserved than other states due to it’s more rugged terrains. While travel may not be as direct as other cities in Mexico, it is more untouched and well worth the venture. Do not hesitate to reach out if you are interested in exploring the state further before or after the retreat.
